What is Ovidrel®?
Ovidrel® is indicated for the induction of final follicle maturity and early luteinization in infertile women who have been pretreated with ovulation inducing medications as part of an assisted reproductive technology program (ART). It is also indicated for the induction of ovulation and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure.

How Do I Use Ovidrel®?
Here are step-by-step instructions for taking Ovidrel® (choriogonadotropin alfa):

This medication comes in a prefilled syringe.

Carefully remove the needle cap.

With the needle pointing toward the ceiling, flick the side of the syringe to disperse any air bubbles

With the needle pointing up, gently press on the plunger to remove the air pocket at the top and expel a drop of liquid
